Khatar, the reigning queen of MMI 2018, is a student of Technological University (Thanlyin), currently in her 3rd year, studying Electronic and Communication. She is an avid reader who enjoys classic literature written by William Shakespeare and her natural talents lie in singing. Her adventurous side reveals cycling and travelling as her hobbies, having visited other countries like China and Bangkok. Khatar’s biggest inspiration comes from Daw Aung San Su Kyi, whom she admires greatly for being ‘a major voice for human rights and freedom.’ Khatar has high ambitions for her country and hopes to expose the undiscovered beauty of nature and the diversity of culture in her native town to the world. Her main aspiration is to create peace in her country, which is facing conflicts and to improve Myanmar’s economy by enhancing communications and tourism.
